Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top for even airflow.
- Pat wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Toss in vegetable oil until well coated.
- In a small bowl, combine baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Sprinkle mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
- Arrange wings on the rack in a single layer without touching.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Let rest a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with ranch, buffalo, or even a tangy yogurt-dill dip for a fresh twist.
Notes
Chicken wings aren’t just a guilty pleasure—they’re also a solid source of lean protein and micronutrients like vitamin B6, phosphorus, and niacin, which support energy and muscle health.
Baking keeps fat lower, and swapping oils lets you tailor the recipe to your diet.
